Olebas Property Developers and Project Managers is a close cooperation t/a “O.P.D. Project Managers cc”. The company is an emerging SMME business which is hundred percent (100%) Black owned and BEE compliant. The company operates two distinctive entities:
- The Project Management Entity
- Property Development Entity (with special emphasis to Middle income residential market and Commercial Developments)
a. The Project Management Entity
The above entity focuses mainly in providing the following services:
- Project Management Services
- Construction management Services
The Project Management entity of the business commenced operations in February 2006 with vast work awarded from various Public sector. As the demand grows a need to establish a sub- component within the Project Management entity emerged and as a result the “Construction Component” was established later in October 2006. This component is presently involved in various developments throughout the KZN Province (i.e. DOE Fastrack programme, Ithala New School Programm e, Umgeni Water Sanitation Programme and Dube Trade Port Agrizone Development. Since conception and in the quest for service excellence OPD Projects operates each business entity independently and each with its own business plan.
The Project Management Entity also intends focusing on operating as a “Managing Agent” and will efficiently managing any sort of project that may be brought by its clients. The service will encompass Project Planning, Project leadership and Project Control. In rendering this service the entity will use its project management system features in order to fulfill the customer needs.
b. Property Development Entity
The above entity focuses mainly on the following services:
- Property development and management
- Property Asset management
This Entity is presently involved in the development of residential apartments with an aim to lease them to their potential clients. This entity aims at researching and identifying areas where there is demand for property development for its target market. Currently the property Development entity has three (3) projects in thee pipeline that will be launched later in the year. These projects include commercial and residential developments.
